THE ORIGIN OF NETHER THEORY

Back

In times past, people with similar theories have asked if I might have "borrowed" my ideas from them.   Although I did not wish to belittle their accomplishments, I explained that I had not "borrowed" anything from them.   Furthermore, what they have was known long before they found it.

It is true that I did not publish anything regarding nether theory in 1965 when I came to understand its basics.   As I have stated elsewhere, at the time it seemed evident to me that even a marginally competent theoretical physicist would discover the theory at any moment.   Of course, at that time I was young, innocent, and unaware of the great efforts mounted by most of them to suppress anything even remotely similar to such a theory.

In 1968, someone showed me some things that convinced me that nether theory predated recorded history.   This led to an avenue of research which continues to this day

When I was thirteen years old, I was given an accordion which I used to compose my first song.   It had no title, but I played it well.   In 1975 I created some lyrics for the song and called it Miracles.   In 1978, I registered it with the U. S. Copyright Office as part of a collection called Heaven on Earth.   I believe this song is the first thing I published that mentions any part of nether theory.   The lyrics are set down below and the parts mentioning some of nether theory are set in italics with bold type.

                                MIRACLES

Forests and fields and the touch of the wind in my face...
Ripples in brooks and aura of love's warm embrace...
God's gentle music is falling on us from the skies..
Miracles happening everywhere open my eyes.

Sounds are the echoes of whirlpools colliding as waves...
Colors are harmonies moving through oceans of space...
Warmth is the opposite end of the spectrum of cold...
Touch in the intimate knowledge of that which we hold.

A parcel of diamonds released in the night
Whose sparkle is wasted till shown in the light...

Love is a gift to be given to all who can feel...
Mercy is here for us all to accept and reveal...
Gold is the knowledge to unlock the secrets of old...
Life is a melody waiting for us to unfold.

In 1988, I began work on a series called The Oldest Magic.   Articles one through six were registered with Copyright Office on 7/15/89.   Articles seven through eighteen were registered on 2/6/89.   Articles nineteen through twenty-one, the prolog, and the epilog were registered on 9/11/91.   Articles twenty-two through twenty-eight and a new epilog were registered on 3/26/92.   In 1995, the series was published in book form with each article as one chapter.   Changes were made so that only twenty-six chapters were presented in the book plus the prolog and the epilog.

It is the prolog, registered in 1991 that has the most complete references to nether theory preceding its actual publication in Behind Light's Illusion.   It speaks of duration, positive and negative states springing from nothingness, layers of universes made of non-particulate fluid, fluid being drained into a fourth dimension to form vortices (called vorticles) of matter, the name nether for the underlying fabric of all, time measured by motion, etc.   There are also references to these things being known by ancient cultures.

Truly, nether theory is much older than anyone knows.   It was a serendipitous revelation to me in May of 1965 when I was looking for something else.   After researching the ancient references to the theory, all that I can claim as my own is the back-up math and a lot of details which apparently did not survive the last ice age and the subsequent bookburnings.   Of course, this statement will be disputed by those who have not been exposed to the evidence or who have not been able to understand the evidence presented. With the passage of time, the truth will be known.   Some of it is found in Behind Light's Illusion, some of it is found in The Oldest Magic, some of it has been concealed by badly translating a popular book owned by the majority of the people in the United States, and some of it may be found in other literary works.
